A Night Out with Jennie Finch

“Hi there, we are the crazy family that flew in from California to attend your charity event “A Night Out with Jennie Finch”, invited by John Redman.

Our daughter has watched her play on TV for several years, and looks up to her as a role model. It was such a thrill for her when you pulled us into the back to meet her. The few moments that Jennie took to speak to my daughter personally about the game were priceless. Jennie is a very genuine, sweet and inspiring person.

Secondly, we would like to say how impressed we were with the event that you put together. I have been to charity events before, but I guess I have been going to the wrong ones! You organized a fabulous event centered around a fantastic guest of honor. The evening went smoothly, and everyone had a great time. You are obviously very good at what you do.

Mike has generously donated his time to the Crisis Nursery of Urbana for the past four years. He auctions off our Live Auction items at our Annual Dinner and Basket Auction each year. He is a fantastic entertainer, and he brings in “the BIG bucks” time and time again.

His performance at this past year’s auction was particularly impressive. As our community struggled through a recession, he was able to bring in $100,000 in profit at the auction for Crisis Nursery.
